Morpeth Lions Public events
Each year we plan a number of events for the public to enjoy.
Some of these are funded by Lions for members of the public.
Others raise funds to enable Lions to do their their work in the community.
MORPETH LIONS LOVE CHRISTMAS!
Morpeth Lions elves and sleigh mechanics enjoy having fun with Santa and his sleigh at various local events around Christmas. Your generosity enables us to buy gifts for many local disadvantaged children. Thank you so much to Winn Electrical Services of Morpeth for your continued sponsorship and support.
MORPETH LIONS LOVE A BOOK SALE!
Our September book sale in Morpeth Town Hall was a huge success and we raised over £4000 for our community causes. Thank you to Bella Boo’s who covered our costs of the event.
MORPETH LIONS AT MORPETH FAIR DAY
In June we always take part in Morpeth Fair Day.
Here we are running a “Throw The Dice Game” for children.
MORPETH LIONS SUPPORT ASHINGTON TOWN COUNCIL
When Santa visited Ashington Christmas Lights Switch On, Morpeth Lions made sure that he was well taken care of. The Lions also presented donation cheques at the event to Stobhill Link and Ashington Community Hub to support their work.
